Rotary's commitment to Service Above Self is channeled through seven Avenues of Service, which form the foundation of club activity. The 7 avenues of service are: peace building and conflict prevention; disease prevention and treatment; water, sanitation, and hygiene; maternal and child health; basic education and literacy; community economic development; supporting the environment.

40 Years of Community

The Rotary Club of Canberra Weston Creek was established on the 17th May 1980. Since our inception, we have been committed to connecting community members with passion to meaningful projects that provide multifaceted benefit towards society.

Our Mission

The Rotary Foundation’s mission is to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty. It is a not-for-profit corporation supported solely by voluntary contributions from Rotarians and friends of the Foundation who share its vision of a better world by funding its humanitarian programs in 215 countries.

Programs include, Polio Plus, vocational and cultural exchanges through Vocational Training Teams, Peace Fellowships and Global Post Graduate Scholarships.
